Details:
I was able to set up the curved tracks in a circle and get the engine to move back and forth. The original box has heavy wear and some of the inside cardboard is missing that secures the trains in each of their boxes. On some of the cars the metal bar inside on the middle has come off and shakes around.
It has the original instructions and original boxes for each car. Besides missing some rail clips it appears this set is complete with all track and original cars. I would not suggest buying this set for a child but rather a collector who knows what to do everything.
Some of the rail clips are very loose and some tracks may need a cleaning. One car it knocked the door off and it needs to be reattached as seen in the picture. The set works and appears mostly complete. Has most of the original packaging.
I do have a video of the engine going around the track and if I will try to post it if not I can send it to you. The engine ran well back and forth and appears in good shape. As it warmed up and I slowly adjusted each track piece it worked better and better. View the images to see all the pieces.
It took a lot of time changing the rail clips and securing the track to complete the circuit. All the other train cars are in good shape but may be missing some of the decorative plastic pieces such as parking brake wheels. Very cool vintage old Tyco train set.
There may be some copper rail connection clips missing so the set will still need a little TLC from someone who can clean it up a bit.
