Issued to Lionel repair technicians in the 1960s magnetize along magnets ho train motors after or disassembly. The classic symptom is motor heats up and runs slow a frequent problem with 0050 gang cars. Manufactured in 1962, this piece of equipment was actually used to service and re-magnetize the along v magnet housed Lionel ho motors.
