To switch with this trackmobile just use a teacher car to make the couples I would make a shorty flatcar with walkways and handrails for the crew to make things go smooth to hook up to the car you want to switch out.

This was my first piece of brass and it is out of production and still runs like a top. The pricing is higher due to it being brass and a limited of them having been made imported as well as collect ability.

Box is missing the model still runs I ran it back and forth on a test track and has dummy couplets. For sale is a straight dc Overland model's collectable trackmobile type vehicle which Overland called a 23 ton industrial switcher from the late 1990or early 2000, item omi the model was used at most off and on for a few hours hear and there on a small witching layout at my mom's house and then sat there on the layout while I was on active duty in the military and then in college, then a family about ten years.

I cannot think of anyway to convert it to CDC except for hard wiring a decoder and putting it in the cab of the trackmobile maybe disguising it as a toolbox. The use of an idler or teacher car would be especially appropriate, especially if switching chemical cars. My friends ended up with CDC layouts so the model sat on the layout which didn't get used and is getting dismantled.
