Red pine precision model ing is offering a listing of a Nj custom brass Santa Fe class steamer.

Also, with only one old photo to work from, I can not guarantee it's accuracy.

Maybe someone out there that is reading this might be able to contribute to it's history. But I did my best. The model was weathered using oils, no chalks or air brushing.

Very rare ls I class r 1, 2 10 2, brass locomotive here is a great brass model that has been custom built, detailed, custom painted and weathered by red pine precision model ing. I don't know where 's 36 and 38 ended up. This is a custom built lake superior ishpeming ls I class r 1, it was originally built by Baldwin for Leigh valley.

Note, the high side extensions and both front and rear wheel sets. The foam is also in excellent condition.

In 1930, the hocking valley sold 's 140, 142, 144 to the ls I which became 's 36, 37, 38, respectively. Just a personal note i've done a great deal of research on this ls I 37 and I never ran across any one that knew ls I ever had any of these r 1 locomotives.

I have the original box and it is in good to excellent condition.

The drive train has been completely gone thru and it runs smooth and quiet.

This model is a one of a kind built model.
