I would service the train prior to really running it hard. Chrome trim has some surface rust here there that can be restored if desired. Works fine, paint is good for the age use. It is dusty from storage, I went over lightly.

A service leaflet is included, that the book they give you. Fleischmann ho tender ddr made rare black on chrome, vintage, Fleischmann, 2-6-0, steam engine with car.

Not sure on the year of this combo as my uncle may have bought in actual west germany, ddr, years before they unified. The box is missing cellophane front flap.
